I hope to have a longer course beginning after Christmas which will allow me to make use of the VLE - I can import activities etc from the previous course pages, and put more interactive things and assessment tasks on it to encourage learners to use it. A regular podcast would help here, to set things in context, and perhaps a feed of useful links from e-learning blogs and similar.
However, I have tried adding new RSS feeds into my course page, only to be told afterwards that there was an error, and it is probably because I do not have permission to make such changes. Phooey!
